There's no ebay for news items, rewarding anyone who gathers it with an online content marketplace. One that accurately prices news pieces and fairly rewards its authors - no matter who they are or where they come from. Solving this will rejuvenate local and national news. This is vital as news affects our thinking, our politics and our society.
